Rock Out With the Equestria Girls New DVD Release

The newest addition to the My Little Pony Collection is hitting stores tomorrow – October 28th.  The new My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks DVD and Blu-Ray will be available for purchase for all MLP fans everywhere.  So if you’ve seen it when it was in theaters, caught the airing on Discovery Kids Network or was waiting for the in home release, you have lots to be excited about.  My daughter is a huge MLP fan and she’s been watching the show and all the movies this past summer.  She was super excited when she saw clips for the Rainbow Rocks movies and even picked up one of the new dolls based on the movie.  We didn’t get to take her to see it in the movies but she has already seen the airing on television but she couldn’t wait to own it on DVD.  She received a Blu-Ray of My Little Pony Equestrai Girls: Rainbow Rocks to review from Shout Factory Kids and Click Communications.  Any opinions expressed are hers.

When I asked my daughter Kennedi to share her thoughts on the movie she said, “It was amazing!  There were lots of really cool parts in the movie that I enjoyed.  One of my favorite scenes was then they were facing off the bad girls and somebody banished them to Canterlot High and they had a battle, the girls were trying to make the place safe.  The bad girls ended up getting powers that they used against the Equestria Girls, I knew that the Equestria Girls would win in the end.”  She said she would definitely watch the movie again and she would share it with friends.  It’s a great movie that shows how friendship can be a strong bond that protects people.  I want my daughter to have a strong circle of friends like the ones shown in MLP.  Each pony has their own strengths but they all come together when they need to support and be there for each other.  Just  in time for the holiday season be sure to pick this one up for any MLP fans on your shopping list.  They won’t be disappointed.

Now, the girls of Canterlot High are back, and this time they’re rocking guitars! In My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks, Canterlot High (CHS) is hosting a musical showcase, and Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy are going to be performing with their new band, The Rainbooms. But when The Dazzlings, a new girl group, arrive at CHS and convince everyone to turn the friendly showcase into a Battle of the Bands, tensions mount between the competing musical acts.
