MLP: Friendship is Magic – The Keys to Friendship DVD Review

I received an advanced copy of The Keys to Friendship for review purposes from Shout Factory Kids.  Any opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced.

My daughter is a huge My Little Pony Fan.  She just loves the shows, she has even gone back and watched the older shows on Netflix when she finished watching all the current episodes in the Friendship is Magic Series.  We received a review copy from Shout Factory to review and she has been watching it constantly.  The dvd is set to be released on July 29th in stores but she’s already watched it at least twenty times.  If you’re a fan of the show you are going to want to add this dvd to your collection because it features the two part season finale “Twilight’s Kingdom”.  Those two episodes make this disc a must have for not only Twilight fans but all fans of the show.  It’s when we get to learn more about the keys of friendship and Twilight finally get her own castle.  Discord makes an appearance in those episodes as well.  Another favorite for us is “Rarity Takes Manhattan”.  I love this episode because it really showed how sometimes we can take our friends for granted when we are only focused on ourselves and it also shows how true friends help each other out.

My daughter gave it two thumbs up but that’s to be expected from her.  She loves the ponies and she’s ready to find out what they have planned next.  If you have a MLP fan or if you’re looking for a nice tv show for your little girl this is one to check out.  It’s totally worth it.  It’s a very wholesome show and it really focuses on the meaning of true friendship.
