Two New Arrivals from Shout Factory Kids

It’s been a great summer of classics from Shout Factory Kids and they recently released two more to add to your DVD collection. Power Rangers in Space Volume One and Ninja Turtles The Next Mutation Turtle Power. There’s even a cross over episode in The Next Mutation that includes the Power Rangers in Space. Way cool according to my six-year-old son.

Ninja Turtles are all the rage right now and my son has been living in a half shell for the past six month or so. I am not sure how or when he started liking the show but I have to say he found it all on his own. He started with small requests for videos on Youtube and now he’s all out Turtle Power. He loves all the variations of Ninja Turtles, I think because he wasn’t around for the original stuff he really isn’t picky. He just loves those turtles. His favorite thing about any of the Next Mutation series is the addition of Venus De Milo. He really like having that girl turtle in the mix. So if you have a fan of the Ninja Turtles then be sure to pick up The Next Mutation Turtle Power, especially if they are looking for a kick butt turtle girl. Plus bonus you get to see the Power Rangers make an appearance as well.

My brother used to watch a lot of Power Rangers growing up and it never dawned on me how many different variations and spins they had for the show. We recently reviewed Power Rangers Turbo Volumes One and Two from Shout Factory. Now it’s time to head into space with Power Rangers in Space Volume One. I didn’t even know when the rangers blasted off into space. The rangers have changed in these episodes. So it’s a whole new cast, also instead of a green ranger there’s a black one. The rangers journeyed into space to rescue their mentor and while their they meet Andros the new Power Ranger who grew up in space. There’s new morphers in this series so the rangers can battle anywhere and help win against evil.

The Power Rangers battle the dreaded villain Divatox at rapid speed in Power Rangers: In Space, Vol. 1, a 3-DVD box set that contains the first 22 episodes of the series.
