My toddler hasn’t had his own special plates or anything like that.  I guess that’s what happens when you have an older brother.  I just let him use something his older brother isn’t using.  Plus he hasn’t showed any interest in show characters so I could buy him his favorite.  Finally I wanted to get him something of his own and Nuby came to the rescue with their iMonster Plate, Bowl and Spoon & Fork set.  It’s all he needs for his eating needs for the most part and he’s been enjoying the whole set.  Plus as a bonus it’s a great way to teach my son about eyes, mouth, teeth, fingers and feet.

The iMonster Toddler Plate is just the right size for all his meals.  It has a sturdy grip on the sides so it’s easy for him to pick it up if he needs to move for any reason.  The plate has sturdy orange legs (they are supposed to be monster legs) that keep the plate firm on the table.  The whole monster design is very cute and fun for my toddler.  He loves eating his food to see the monster mouth.  He likes eating dinner from his plate.

The iMonster Fork & Spoon is a great beginner set for toddlers learning to feed themselves.  The base is wide enough for a good grip and it’s shorter than regular utensils.  The fork is not sharp at all but it can pick up food with ease.  My son uses his all the time even if he’s not using it with the other parts of the set.  I would recommend getting more than one set so you have them to use at all times.  It’s a great starter set.

The iMonster Snack Keeper was my favorite of all the items.  I loved how it kept my toddler from making a huge mess around the house.  Usually when I give him food in open bowls tons of it ends up on the floor.  With his bowl he can just slip his hands into the bowl and grab his snacks.  The bowl has a very tight seal and it’s hard for my toddler to get it opened, even I have difficulty opening the bowl.  I love this because he can’t just pour all the food on the floor.  The bowl is also perfect for the car as well.  This bowl is sure to make snack time less stressful.
