Nuby Clik-it™ No Spill™ Insulated Cool Sipper™ Review

Nuby Clik-it™ No Spill™ Insulated Cool Sipper™ Review

Disclosure: I am a NUBY Mommy and I was provided the item below for review.  Any and all opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced.

As a mom of four I have had my fair share of experience with sippy cups.  Each of my children had cups they preferred with different tops and from different brands.  It seems that each child liked something different.  My third child, our toddler seemed to be the hardest when it finally came for him to start using a sippy cup.  He used the same bottles the entire time he was bottle feeding because he only liked the one kind of nipple so transitioning to a sippy cup was hard.  It took months to find something and we ended up with a bottle that had nipples to slowly transition over.  Finally he was using a sippy cup but now that he’s getting older I want something to help him ease into using a regular cup.  I couldn’t wait to try the Nuby Clik-it™ No Spill™ Insulated Cool Sipper™ with him since it is supposed to help with the transition.

I wasn’t sure how my toddler would do with this cup but I was excited about trying it out because of the claim that it was leak proof.  Since using the cup however I find that it still leaks at times and that’s because my husband often screws on the top pass the lock system on the cup.  I would suggest trying out the cup a few times with water first to make sure you are using it correctly.  Once we figured out the locking system we didn’t have problems with our cup.

My son had no problems getting started with this cup.  He used it right away.  He really liked the soft silicone rim on this cup.  This is one of the first cups he now grabs when he is ready for something to drink.  I love that the pieces are super easy to clean and the cup doesn’t have deep grooves that keeps bacteria trapped in the cover of the cup and difficult to clean out.  I think we’re off to a great start with this cup for getting our son ready for big boy cups.
