Making Hydration a Priority in 2020

January 17, 2020 By Nickida

Last year I didn’t make any resolutions, it’s just not my thing to do. I knew I wanted to be healthy and make some changes in my life. I started to work out and go to the gym regularly. Slowly that changed. Eventually, I stopped. Later in the year, I noticed I was getting headaches and muscle cramps. After visiting my doctor she realized that I was dehydrated. I wasn’t getting enough water and it was starting to affect my body. This year I promised myself to make hydrations a priority and thanks to Zak Designs I plan to do just that.

Disclosure: This post is in partnership with Zak Designs. Any opinions expressed are my own.

Staying hydrated is very important to your health. We all know we should drink at least eight glasses of water a day but how much of it do you really drink? I know I don’t drink enough water and I know it was something I had to change. When I first started drinking more water, we increased the amount of water we brought from the store. We usually buy from the warehouse store, so it’s not that expensive in bulk. However, I started to realize how much we were creating extra waste. We always recycle but I knew this was something I could cut down significantly while still drinking all the water I needed.

The question became how to find a convenient way to eliminate some of that waste and keep up with my daily intake of water. We’ve spent a small fortune on water bottles for the kids. I even get them all the time from travel and blog projects but it always seemed like we needed more bottles. I decided to change my mindset and find quality durable bottles, instead of shopping based on affordability. Soon everyone in the house had durable water bottles that last except for me.

During the holidays I got a lovely package from Zak Designs. It included two of their new Genisis Water Bottles. This new patent-pending Genesis collection includes an assortment of bottle sizes and colors in both
vacuum-insulated, double-wall stainless steel as well as durable Tritan material. At the heart of these innovative water bottles, however, is the Versa lid that features a silicone drinking straw on one side of the lid and a chug spout on the other. This unique feature gives people the freedom to use the same bottle whether they are sipping casually at their desks or quench their thirst in a hurry after a workout.

This new water bottle was exactly what I needed to increase my water intake. It has helped us cut down our environmental footprint as well. We started using our water cooler more and stopped spending money on bottled water. It has saved us so much money when we switched. Plus it has helped me with increasing my water intake.

Hydration is very important and Zak Designs shared 10 Reason to Drink More Water. There are so many benefits to drinking more water. When I was getting my headaches one of the first things my doctor mentioned was getting more water in my system daily. I immediately noticed a change once I started to drink more water.

The Genesis water bottles are available for purchase from Zak Designs, starting as low as $11.99. To learn more about the Genesis Water Bottles from Zak Designs visit their website.

Regardless if you’re looking to cut down on your carbon footprint by reducing the amount of plastic in your home or you’re looking to increase your water consumption. Zak Designs Genesis Water Bottles are perfect for both. Built durable to last, with a 2-in-1 lid, this water bottle is great for on the go, in the office, the gym bag, and even in the car for road trips. I’ve loved my bottle and I have recommended it a few family and friends. I have always been a big fan of Zak products and this is another innovative product that is a winner in my book.
