Make Chili a Little Healthier with Cluck ‘N Moo

October 22, 2014 By Nickida

Make Chili a Little Healthier with Cluck ‘N Moo

It’s fall and that means it’s Chili season.  I love when the temperatures drops because that means I start using my oven more often and the Slow Cooker becomes my best friend.  I had the opportunity to try Cluck ‘N Moo and share my thoughts.  Any opinions expressed are my own.

cluck ground

You may or may not have heard of Cluck ‘N Moo Ground before, well they want you to enjoy your chili a little healthier this year.  Cluck ‘N Moo is a perfect mix of both ground beef and ground chicken, it contains less fat than ground beef alone.  Imagine not having to sacrifice some of the flavor you enjoy with an all beef burger and losing over half the fat of that same burger.  I love the idea because I’ve used multiple ground meat products in meatloaf before.  Now I don’t have to find different packages in the store, make sure I measure out equal amounts or worry about my food being dry or lacking flavor.

Cluck ‘N Moo is the first and only half-chicken (50%), half-beef (50%) ground meat, made from antibiotic and hormone free, humanely raised chickens and grass-fed cows. Cluck ‘N Moo is unique in that it offers that same beef taste we all crave, but without the large amounts of artery-clogging fat. Cluck n’ Moo’s innovative blend offers 52% less fat, 34% fewer calories and 57% less saturated fat than a regular all beef ground.

Cooking with Cluck ‘N Moo was just like cooking with any other ground meat that I have used in the past.  There wasn’t a need for extra oil, it cooked down great and my entire family gobbled up our chili.  They couldn’t even tell any difference from using regular ground beef and using the Cluck ‘N Moo.  My husband even said he really loved the flavors of this chili and that it tasted great, reminded him of chili his grandmother would make.  That’s a huge compliment.  I really enjoyed Cluck ‘N Moo, it’s a gourmet food experience at a price that’s still affordable.  The product is of very high quality and if you’re looking to start eating better and loves burgers and chili then you should definitely check out Cluck ‘N Moo.  To keep your warm this fall and winter season check out this tasty chili recipe from Cluck ‘N Moo.
