Little House on the Prairie Season Two Review
Fresh on the heels of the Season One release the latest in the Little House on the Prairie franchise was released from Lionsgate Home Entertainment on May 6th. The digitally remastered release gives fans the opportunity to enjoy the all their favorite moments in the entire season. The five disc DVD includes all 22 episodes from Season Two complete and uncut in their original broadcast length. It also features part two of the new 40th Anniversary celebration documentary, “The Little House Phenomenon: Part Two – In The Beginning…” The Little House On The Prairie – Season Two Deluxe Remastered Edition Blu-ray and DVD collections will be available for the suggested retail price of $38.99 and $29.98, respectively.
The series is based on Laura Ingalls Wilder’s best-selling and much-loved book series, “The Little House on the Prairie” chronicling the dramatic, gripping adventures of a young pioneer family’s struggle to build a new life for themselves on the American frontier of the 1870s. In Season Two we are introduced with new challenges and unforgettable frontier adventures. With his debts climbing Charles is forced to work several jobs, and his entire family pitches in to earn the needed money. Mary’s gift for mathematics makes her popular in the town. Charles helps an ailing widow find care for her three children and the Ingalls family celebrates the nation’s centennial with a joyous town party. You can relive these favorite moments – and so many more – in this heartwarming collection that celebrates one of the most beloved TV series of all time. I’ve enjoyed watching the Ingalls family and my re-introduction to their life. It’s been nice being able to share this with three generations in my family by watching with my mom, siblings and kids. This is a classic and a must for your family collection. Fans be sure to grab this and Season One to add to your collection as well.
