Holiday Baking and Fun with Wilton
I like baking, it helps me relax and release stress. During the holidays I usually end up baking lots of cookies, cakes and sometimes even pies as well. This year I reached out to Wilton to see if I could do a review and they happily sent me an assortment of holiday baking goodies to review. I received samples for inclusion in my Holiday Gift Guide.
I’m a huge fan of Wilton products. When I first wanted to get into cake decorating I took one of their method classes to help me with cake decorating. I would love to finish up their other classes because I learned so much. I don’t even buy frosting any more I just make my own butter cream frosting. So reviewing Wilton products was a great bonus for me. I waited in excitement to see what I was getting in the mail and when the day finally arrived it was awesome. It was filled with all kinds of awesome products for us to try and make our holidays even more awesome.
We got lots of great goodies to help us celebrate the holidays in style. The first thing we tried was making were cake pops with the sprinkles for the holidays. Unfortunately it was a horrible fail. I let the kids decorate and they went sprinkles crazy. We couldn’t get good photos but they had so much fun and enjoyed making the cake pops. It’s a memory they’ll never forget. Some of the other items in our kit included a Tacky Sweater Kit, Gingerbread House Kit, Cookie Cutters, Cookie Icing and more.
The kids had lots of fun creating their ugly sweater cookies, it was such a fun family activity. The Gingerbread House was a great holiday class party donation for my toddlers class. They enjoyed making the house and had fun. If you’re planning on making any treats this holiday season make sure you check out Wilton products for all your needs.
