Eat Better, Change Your Lifestyle with MealFit
Every time you turn on your television you are almost guaranteed to see some sort of dieting ad geared towards both men and women. If I took the time to count them I know there would be quite a few. I was skinny for most of my life but over the last few years I’ve gained quite a few pounds that I can’t seem to drop off. I’ve never been into diets or any weight loss gimmicks though so for me I knew the best way to go about losing weight was by eating better and make changes to my lifestyle. In an age of the internet it’s easy to find a whole wealth of information but at the same time that information can be overwhelming and tedious. I’ve teamed up with MealFit Co to share how you can eat better and change your lifestyle with MealFit.
When I was planning to make changes to my lifestyle, the first thing I wanted to tackle was what I choose to eat and cutting out fast food from my family’s diet. Last year my husband started talking about us making those changes so I knew it would be hard to get him to adjust and see how it would be beneficial to not just myself but our entire family. This is one huge benefit of using a service like MealFit. Unlike programs where you’re buying food for yourself, MealFit weekly menus gives you options for the entire family. Each menu is delivered weekly with breakfast, lunch and dinner options. The lunch options are created using leftovers from the night before so you are saving money on lunch and cutting food waste. As the head chef for our family I am always trying to cook the right amount of food because I either don’t cook enough or make too much. Having the option to use those dinner leftover for lunch is a major plus in my book and I’m sure anyone who does meal planning and meal planning will see the benefits of MealFit. Currently MealFit has an option to have MealFit meals delivered to your home. It’s only available in a limited area. Learn more about it on the MealFit Ready page and if you want that option in your city be sure to send them a message to show interest.
The best thing about MealFit is the recipes and they share a ton of different delicious ideas on their Pinterest page for you to try to see how you like them for yourself. When you choose one of their recipes on Pinterest or on their website you can rest assured that’s not only a healthy option, it’s a tasty one and well. I love how open to communication MealFit founder Thomas Cox is with visitors to the site and MealFit subscribers. If you try a recipe you can send him feedback whether it’s negative or positive. You can also sign up for motivational emails from the website if you need a little boost to get your week started. Plus you can always check their blog for lots of other information about living a healthy lifestyle.
MealFit helps with saving time and money as well. Like I shared earlier, when you receive your weekly meal menu you can feed your whole family using those meals and they are also set up to use any leftovers for lunch, which saves you money. Each weekly email also includes a full shopping list for all the items you need for that week of meals. That’s going to save you lots of time prepping and shopping for meals. They even include slow cooker meals that you can start before you leave out for the day and it’s ready by the time you get home. All around it’s a win, win in my opinion. Currently MealFit features two plans to choose from:
The Original Plan is 95% Paleo. Sometimes on occasion we will put some non Paleo Items on the plan (Cheese, Peanut butter, ect. )
This is for the people who are eating clean but not totally super strict. It gives people who mental break from all the restrictions. It is measured out and divided into servings. This is plan has a lower carbohydrate content and is a great plan if you are looking to improve fitness, lean up or lose weight in general. This is our most popular plan by far.
