CatDog: The Complete Series DVD Review
I remember when CatDog on television. I was in high school at the time and my younger sister would watch the show. The thing about younger sibling is something you find yourself watching and enjoying their shows. I received a copy of CatDog The Complete Series for inclusion in my Holiday Gift Guide.
I was actually quite intrigued by CatDog, for years I watched the show wondering how they came up with the concept of fusing a dog and a cat together. It’s kind of odd but it always seemed to work. Dog was always jolly and happy all the time. He loved chasing twigs just about anywhere. Nothing it seemed would or could dampen his mood. Cat on the hand was always fussing and upset most of the time. He was like the original grumpy cat. He was tired of always being dragged along with dog on his adventures. Together they just worked well. If you are shopping for a fan of past Nick shows then they’re going to love this box set. With all 68 episodes in one box set it’s hours of laughs for the family.

Originally airing from 1998-2005, CatDog: The Complete Series features an all-star voice cast which includes Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants, Rocko’s Modern Life), Jim Cummings (The Super Hero Squad Show, Reno 911) and Carlos Alazraqui (The Fairly OddParents, Rocko’s Modern Life).
Brothers Cat and Dog couldn’t be more different — Cat is clever and cultured, while Dog is a naïve but lovable goofball. But they definitely share one thing in common: a body! This crazy set of conjoined twins find themselves in all sorts of silly adventures, but through them all,the two misfits stick together…whether they like it or not!
On October 14th, Shout! Factory released all 68 episodes of this fan-favorite series as a complete series DVD for the first time. You can purchase the DVD from Shout Factory online or in stores nationwide.
