Bungees – Summer’s Hottest New Collectible Toy

I was contacted by Jazwares to test out their newest boy collectible toy – Bungees.  I was provided a sample for review.  Any opinions expressed are my own.

My son loves toys, but really what kid doesn’t?  He especially loves toy collections.  I usually get more items that are for girls so he’s always excited when a package comes that’s for him.  As soon as I opened the box he was super excited and couldn’t wait to try the game.  He didn’t even bother reading the directions.  Once he realized that he needed my help he asked me to help him get the game set up and he was ready to play with his sister.  My son is only six so he did need some help with reading the rules and figuring out the game but for a boy that’s a little older this would be perfect for him and his friends.  The object of the game is simple, you flick your Bungee onto a score disk to score points.  We received a Series One Deluxe Pack which included four Bungees, four score discs, four collector cards, and a collector board that doubles as a practice board.

My son enjoys playing Bungees with his sister and he’s already been asking for more characters to add to his collection.  The Bungees are small toys and the more you collect the more pieces you will have.  I would suggest getting a storage container for your score discs and your Bungees.  As a note to parents the Bungees do have a magnet inside, so they may stick to other surfaces.  Storing them when not in use would be the best thing to do.

Starting with a starter pack is a great way to get started with your Bungees but the game is very fun and addictive and soon you’ll surely want to add more Bungees to your collection.  The game is also more fun with more people playing.  The game has beginner and advanced rules but we stuck to beginner rules using only the scores on the front of the score discs.  For more information on playing and the game check out these Bungees videos.
