Nuby Store n’ Feed™ Breastmilk Storage Containers Review

When my box of goodies to review for Nuby Mommy arrived it also contained the Nuby Store n’ Feed™ Breastmilk Storage Containers. I requested the bottles before my son was born because my intent was to try to breast feed and pump milk for my child. Birth day however came with lots of surprises and to make a long story short, I ended up with pre-eclampsia. This lead to me not being with my son for the first twenty four hours after he was born. Breast feeding was out, he just wouldn’t latch on at all. I had some hope for pumping but as the time goes on and my blood pressure has not returned to normal I can’t even pump milk because of medication. I was a little sad but it happens. So not the thought was what to can I use the bottles for, and actually there’s so much ways to use it.
I have been using mines mainly to keep water to make a bottle when we are out on the go for short periods of time. It’s great because instead of having to worry about the water I use while we are out I sterilize my water at home and store them in the bottles so they are ready for us to use when we are out and about. At night it’s so easy to have water measured already so when I am making my son’s bottles I don’t have to turn on a light to see how much I need to pour in the bottles. Keeping the lights off keeps him drowsy so he’s back to sleep most feedings, instead of staying awake having a party. They are also great to keep pre-measured formula in the bottles and when I am ready I just add water so I am not carrying around a whole can of formula with me always. It’s definitely a great resource and it’s not just for breast feeding moms, it’s a great product for all moms to have – period.
