KIND Snacks Supporting Breast Cancer Patients
Disclosure: I was provided samples from KIND Snacks in exchange for this post. Any and all opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced.
It’s October and that means that it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. KIND Healthy Snacks has teamed up with Dr. Elizabeth Thompson, radiation oncologist and founder of BFFL Co to offer a limited-edition BreastBFFL Bag for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. KIND Snacks is known for there “KIND Projects”. I’ve seen lots of them on their Facebook pages and even participated in a few as well, sending a free KIND bar to a friend or family member. It really doesn’t come as a surprise to me that they are working on an initiative to support Breast Cancer Patients.
About the BFFL Bag:
BFFLBags® are recovery bags pre-packed with medical, personal care and other products designed to help patients recuperate from breast cancer and other surgeries or treatments. In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month we have developed, along with the great people at KIND Healthy Snacks, this beautiful Limited Edition Breast BFFLBag®. This breast surgery recovery kit is a bright pink quilted designer zip tote bag packed with everything needed for surgical recovery, such as: our specially-designed axillapilla® comfort pillow; wound and drain care supplies; mybody® skin care gift pack; Bio-Oil® moisturizing scar treatment; toiletries, organizing tools and instructions; a box of 12 KIND bars; and more. The stylish yet lightweight bag will keep spirits high during recovery, and help the transition back to active life as a gym bag,
shopping tote, or laptop case!
Each bag comes carefully wrapped in tissue and accompanied by a handwritten note card. BFFL Co and KIND Healthy Snacks will donate 20% of sales to Friends Fighting Breast Cancer. Bags can be purchased by a patient for herself, as a get-well gift for a friend or loved one facing surgery, or sent to a deserving patient in an under served area!
Here’s How You Can Get Involved:
- For every bag sold in October, KIND will donate an extra $5 to Friends Fighting Breast Cancer. You can purchase the bag for a woman in your life who is recovering from breast cancer or “Do the KIND Thing” by purchasing one to be donated to an anonymous, deserving patient.
- Within each of the donated bags, we’ll be including our community’s’ words of encouragement. Submit your note to one of these brave women by emailing [email protected] and KIND will be sure it makes its way to a deserving patient.
Buying a Bag:
You can purchase a bag online in the BFFL Co Store. They cost $100 each and could help one woman on her journey to recovery during a very difficult time in her life.
So if you can please consider getting involved in this great program, even if you just write some word’s or encouragement. Please share this post with friends and family members to get the information out about the bags and the donations from KIND Snacks.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
