The holiday season is in full swing and the family and I took a trip to Hershey, PA to celebrate our youngest’s birthday. We love visiting Hershey during the holiday season. It’s a must for our holiday traditions because it’s always so beautiful and festive. If you’ve never been to Hershey during the holiday season I highly suggest a trip and be sure to book your stay at the Hershey Lodge. There’s so much to see and do during the holiday season in Hershey, but starting your visit at the lodge is one of the best ways to start in my opinion.

Kids can start their vacation with a fun twist with Kids Check-In at the lodge. I love the idea of the kids signing the guest book and checking in to start off their vacation. If you’re lucky you may even meet a character or two in the lobby when you check-in as well.
The rooms are comfy and spacious at the Hershey Lodge. I always find myself looking for the hidden Hershey Kisses all over the room. It’s on the linen, the wallpaper, and even the room number outside the door.
I love visiting the Hershey Lodge because their toiletries are my favorite from any hotel I’ve ever visited. The hint of cocoa in the products seem to be in the air and all around during your stay.
Water Works at Hershey Lodge is perfect for the whole family to relax after a day at the park. Even if you don’t visit the park you can enjoy the indoor water park, which is included in the cost of your stay at the lodge. It’s warm and comfortable year-round so, your family can enjoy it during the winter season. There’s a pool, splash area, kids pool, and a hot tub for the adults to relax.
When it comes to dining options there are lots of choices at the Hershey Lodge. We love starting our day for breakfast at The Hershey Grill. Fire & Grain was a huge hit with the kids for dinner. When it comes to finding a place to eat just ask at the front desk or try one of the many options on-site. We haven’t found one that we didn’t enjoy yet.
The holiday decor at the lodge adds even more to the holiday spirit. All around the lodge inside and outside they add festive decor and lights to help you celebrate the holidays. They also offer special seasonal events like their Gingerbread House Workshop for more holiday fun. If you’re planning a trip to Hershey or looking for travel ideals during the holidays. I recommend checking out the Hershey Lodge and adding Hershey, PA to the area.
The Hershey Lodge is just the start of the holiday experience in Hershey. The lights in Hersheypark are simply amazing. Everywhere in Hershey gets into the holiday spirit. Sweet Lights is another activity to add to your list as well. Regardless of what you’re planning, you are sure to have a great time in Hershey for the holidays.
