Five Ways to Enjoy Christmas in Hershey

Five Ways to Enjoy Christmas in Hershey

If you’ve been thinking about visiting Hershey for the holidays and you’re not sure what to do, I have a list of some of my family’s favorite things to do for the holidays in Hershey. Heading to Hersheypark isn’t just a trip for the summer. There’s so much to do and enjoy during the holidays season as well. We usually like to plan our trip to take advantage of all our favorites while visiting and that includes one of the greatest light shows we’ve ever seen – Hershey Sweet Lights.

Hershey Sweet Lights

Disclosure: This post is written in partnership with Hersheypark as a part of the Sweetest Moms Program. Any opinions expressed are my own.

Hershey Sweet Lights

The kids love driving through the Sweet Lights display and listening to the music on the radio to accompany the different light displays. Our favorite is trying to spot the 12 Days of Christmas items from the song that’s on display. We enjoying taking our time cruising through the display and finding the themed displays.

Drive through two miles of lighted displays from the comfort of your car in Hershey Sweet Lights attraction. Hershey Sweet Lights attraction begins Friday, November 10 and is open daily through Monday, January 1, 2018.  For operational hours and dates visit www.Hersheypark.com. Admission to Sweet Lights cost $19.15 per car (Mon-Thur) and $26.15 per car (Fri – Sun).

Christmas Candylane at Hersheypark

The fun of Hersheypark doesn’t stop when the temperatures drop. We love visiting the park during the holiday season when the lines are a little shorter and the park is filled with holiday cheer. Did you know that ticket prices for Christmas Candylane is just $24 per person and kids 2 and under are free?

Christmas Candylane holiday attraction will feature:

  • A new addition to the roller coaster line-up – Sidewinder coaster will join favorites Wildcat, sooperdooperLooper, Cocoa Cruiser, Wild Mouse and Laff Trakk coasters that will open during the Christmas Candylane holiday event (weather permitting). The new for 2017 Hershey Triple Towers attraction also will be one of the more than 50 rides open for the season.

  • Four million sparkling lights will illuminate and excite as you make your way through Hersheypark Amusement Park. A new holiday show, A Music Box Christmas, will be sure to put you in the holiday spirit. And iconic Christmas Candylane activities will return, including Santa and his live reindeer, Rudolph’s Skating Pond, and NOEL, the breathtaking light show.

Christmas Candylane holiday attraction begins Friday, November 10 and is open on select dates through Monday, January 1, 2018. For operational hours and dates visit www.Hersheypark.com.
