I have to admit, I haven’t shared much about my journey towards better health. I ended 2018 in an odd space both mentally and physically. I didn’t make New Years Resolutions. The first thing I can share about this process is how difficult it was for me to actually purchase these products. I used the handy store locator link on the Alpha Foods website, found a supermarket near me and headed to the store. It took five trips to different stores to finally find the products. We drove twenty minutes from our house to purchase the Alpha Foods products. What’s alarming about that for me, is how hard it can be to find quality and healthy food options for families living in urban and some suburban areas.

My family were big fans of the burritos. They were very tasty to us. We couldn’t even tell it was meat-free. It’s one we would try again. The pot pie didn’t really had a strong flavor for us. We couldn’t really taste the beefy cheddar flavor. We are planning to try the second pot pie and see if we like that one better.
All in all, we plan to add Alpha Foods to our meal plan when we want to add in some more meatless options for lunch and dinner.
