Holiday Toys from PBS Kids and Whole Foods
Christmas is in a few weeks and if you have any toddlers on your shopping list these toys from PBS Kids and Whole Foods are sure to be a hit. For the second year in a row these two companies have teamed up to launch new items in their earth friendly toy line. These new toys inspire creativity and imaginative-play, as musical instruments, shape puzzles, and bath toys are all available for toddlers.
Disclosure: PBS Kids provided items in this post for inclusion in my holiday gift guide. Any opinions expressed are my own.
We received three items from the PBS Kids Toys line for inclusion in my gift guide. These products are made using responsibly sourced materials, including PlanWood, which is high density fiber composite wood from rubber trees, organic color pigment, and rubber wood.
I love that my son can enjoy bath toys that aren’t made from hard plastics that may not be the best toys for him. They are easy to wrap and gift or you can easily place them in a gift bag. The packaging is very easy to open, there are not plastic wiring keeping the items in the box they use sting that make it easy to remove when opening the toys.
One of my favorites is the stacking giraffe, it helps my son with his hand eye coordination and he’s also learning about colors. Another plus to gifting these PBS KIDS toys is they are gifts that give back. Purchasing these products gives back to the PBS mission of education for all children as 100% of profits for the supplier, PBS, go back to their non-profit work. All PBS holiday products give 1% to Whole Kids Foundation, which helps give parents, teachers and children more tools and opportunities to eat well.
These toys are available in Whole Foods Markets across the country and online at PBS KIDS Shop.
