My thoughts:
It never dawned on me how much trouble George would get into. As soon as the movie started the Man with the Yellow Hat was passing out cards with his information to pay for damages by George. LOL, I guess it’s true even in movies monkeys don’t make good pets. George gets a special to space but his antics causes him to crash and he ends up in Africa. Regardless of the situation though George is relentless. He’s the definition of a trooper and he doesn’t let his strange surroundings stop him from exploring and making friends.
This movie is great for younger kids, it has lots of talking points through-out the movie. You can talk to your kids about missions to space when George leaves for space. You can even talk to them about being safe when traveling and what not to do, based on George causing a crash. Then there’s talking points for Africa, the jungle, jungle animals and electricity. When we were watching my kids had lots of questions about things they have never seen before. Plus with the activity sheets and recipes I have below you can add much more fun to your movie night.
Back to the Jungle not only takes George and the Man with the Yellow hat on a new adventure, they end up having to save the day. Go along with George on this new adventure, it’s one you won’t want to miss if you’re a fan.
