Renaissance Style Dresses from Holy Clothing

Arwen-DressI started watching a television show on SyFy Network called “Merlin”.  It’s completely different from the other shows and movies about the Sword in the Stone, Merlin, Arthur and Camelot.  I’ve watched almost every episode and the one thing that I loved the most about the show is the clothing.  I always look at all the clothes and wonder how they could create those looks that are so authentic and true to that time period.  I have found a great website called Holy Clothing that offer just that.  They offer beautiful dresses like the Arwen pictured to the right.  It’s a great dress sure to make you look and feel like a true princess.

This dress is in the Renaissance style dresses and the whole  line of clothing that reminds me of royal times.  You can dress like a Queen or Princess and I’m sure people will be complimenting you on how great you look.

I really liked a lot of the designs I found on the site.  I am trying to decide which piece I would choose from the site.  They have a lovely cloak that just screams royalty on the site that is sure to make all women feel like Queens.  Perfect for wearing anywhere.  Browsing around the site has really made me wish I lived in a town that held a renaissance fair because I would know exactly where to shop for all my clothing.

Isn’t this just pretty, as much as I like the cloak I have also been looking at a skirt in their peasant line that’s so pretty.  It has ruffles and looks like a fairy-tale bottom.  I think it’s just the thing for me.  This is the Talia Gypsy Ruffle Asymmetrical Layered Flared Peasant Skirt that I like the best.

Here are some photos of me in my skirt.  I got it in a cranberry color.  I love the fit of my skirt, it’s flowing and makes me feel lady like.  The material is very soft and light and with the skirt I wanted to show you could just wear it with a tee or put on a blazer and dress it up some more.  My skirt has enough layers to keep me warm when its cool outside but also its light enough so I am not too hot in the warmer weather.

Be sure to check out Holy Clothing online and visit them on their Facebook page.

Disclosure: I will receive a free piece of clothing from Holy Clothing.  Any opinions expressed are my own and have not been influenced.
