A Witch and the Werewolf the Movie Review
So you’ve probably heard of Sabrina the Teenage Witch before, well she’s been revamped and is back on television in a new series on the Hub Network called Sabrina Secrets of a Teenage Witch. This new series isn’t like the one I grew up with at all. It’s an animated series and while some of the characters are the same there’s a whole new cast of characters in this movie. We received a copy of the movie A Witch and the Werewolf from Lionsgate Home Entertainment for review purposes. Any opinions expressed are my own.
In the new series Sabrina is a teenage in high school but she’s also a witch attending a magic academy at the same time. The series is a fun reminder for me of my times in high school but I loved how they made changes so that it’s a show my daughter and niece can enjoy. In the movie Sabrina’s friend Harvey is the victim of a curse turning him into a werewolf and it’s up the Sabrina to save the day. Just like the series the movie was so much fun and excitement. It’s not super scary that you daughter would be afraid to watch it on her own but it’s scary enough so it’s a little spooky. There are lots of great animation and Sabrina herself is pretty cool. She’s a great friend who’s there to help her friends at school and her friends at the magic academy. This is a great feature to show at any Halloween parties you may be planning for young girls, they’ll love getting to know this Sabrina and all her friends.
