Walmart and Pampers Support Children’s Miracle Network
Walmart and Pampers has teamed up to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals this June. This partnership will result in a donation of two hundred thousand dollars to CMNH to help them further their mission to make miracles. Purchasing Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals products helps supports the hospitals. Each purchase helps with making a donation to the network. Eli’s parents assumed the Hopkins Children’s staff would be attentive to him as a patient, but the overwhelming compassion shown toward their little boy far exceeded expectations. Born with twisted intestines, Eli needed complex surgeries to reconstruct his bowel, remove parts of his colon and 90 percent of his lower intestines. He desperately needed the specialized care only a comprehensive pediatric hospital can provide.
Eli became attached to a stuffed cat named “Kitty,” who has since accompanied him along every step of his recovery. Doctors recognized this special bond and made every effort to incorporate Kitty into Eli’s treatments. That personal touch and attention to detail, coupled with excellent care, helped propel Eli to good health.
With medication and routine check-ups, Eli is now free to enjoy his childhood. Affectionately known as “Mr. Personality” to his family, Eli loves being social and lights up every room he enters.
