Upgrade Your TV With Google Chromecast
When we moved this summer we had the unfortunate luck of losing one of our televisions. We were already starting with one short so it was a big blow once we started getting settled in the house. My dad wanted to gift us something for the house and ended up finding a great deal on a new 55′ television. It was great we were super excited until we got it home and set up to only realize it wasn’t a smart TV. I was surprised brands were making newer television without updated technology. Here we were with a big screen 4K television and the only thing it did was got us on Netflix. So the question was how could we fix this, and the easy answer was with the Google Chromecast.

With Google Chromecast you can watch movies, shows, live TV, YouTube, and photos streaming on your TV from all your family’s devices.¹ It’s super easy to set up and use, all you have to do is plug Chromecast into the HDMI port on your TV and to power and stream your favorite entertainment right from your phone with just a tap. And while streaming, you can still use your phone as you normally do.
The Google Chromecast works with the streaming apps you know and love like Netflix, YouTube, YouTube TV, and HBO NOW. There are over 2000 apps to choose from, giving up endless possibilities. Find more at g.co/chromecast/¹
What was alluring for us in regards to the Google Chromecast was the price. For the fraction of the cost of a brand new television, we were able to add so many more features to our television. You’re getting an upgrade for less, and at $35 retail you can purchase one for any of your televisions that need an upgrade into 2018. My kids love how smoothly it workes without Google Home Mini and Google Assistant, they can start streaming with just their voice. All you have to do is just say what you want to watch from compatible apps and control your TV hands-free.²
You can purchase the Google Chromecast in Best Buy stores, or visit their website to learn more and see how you can upgrade your television for an affordable price. It’s a great gift option this holiday shopping season.
