I can still remember my metal lunch box when I was a little girl going to school in Trinidad.  Inside was a matching Thermos to keep my drink either hot or cold for lunch.  My grand father always carried a Thermos with hot liquids to work every day and so did my father.  It was a brand that my family trusted and now as an adult it’s a brand I know I can trust for my family.  I was recently contacted by Thermos for a review, I was provided samples and any opinions expressed are my own.

I received a variety of products from Thermos for my family to review.  I was looking for specific items and I was surprised at how many great options they had to offer for each category.  Thermos has definitely evolved from what I remember it.  We received fun items for all the members of our family.  They  truly have something for everyone.

For infants and toddlers.  We received products from Dwell Studio for Thermos.  We received a sippy cup and a food jar for review.  The Dwell Studio for Thermos Transportation Vacuum Insulated Soft Sprout Sippy is perfect for our infant who’s transitioning from bottler to sippy cups.  The sprout is soft so it doesn’t feel as weird to him as the plastic sprouts on other sippy cups.  It has handles for him to hold now and as he gets older we can remove the handles.  It has interchangeable lids, is BPA Free is sweat proof.  It’s a great starter sippy for our son and it keeps liquids cold for up to six hours.  The Dwell Studio for Thermos Transportaion Vacuum Insulated Food Jar is great for taking your baby’s table food with you when you’re on the go.  I love using mines to keep cereal warm or mashed potatoes.  If you make your own baby food this is perfect for storing your food.  The jar is also BPA Free, it’s cool to the touch when it has hot foods and sweat proof with cold foods.  Foods can stay warm for up to five hours and cool for up to seven hours in this food jar.

My daughter got the Purple 16′ FUNtainer Bottle to review.  She’s been taking water bottles to school every day but she’s been asking for someone more environmentally friendly option that plastic bottles every day.  She just loved her FUNtainter bottle.  She fills it with water every night and takes it to school with her and when she comes home at night I wash it and she fills it again for the next day.  This bottle keeps here water cool for up to twelve hours, so she knows no matter what times of day she has a drink at school her water will be cool and satisfying.  She loves her bottle and say’s it’s the best she’s ever had.  This is a great option for runners or anyone who carries a water bottle to say hydrated at all times.  It’s the prefect teacher gift, stocking stuffer or just because gift.

My sister carries lunch to work every day and I just knew this would be the prefect gift for her.  It’s insulated to keep her food warm or cool inside.  The Dwell Studio for Thermos Butterfly Insulated Lunch Box.  The lunch box is laminated so the outside stays clean at all times so any spills just wipes right off.  It’s another great gift option for just about anyone on your shopping list.

For the Star Wars fans like my husband and now my son.  There’s the Star Wars™ R2D2 Novelty Lunch Kit with Sound.  This cute lunch kit is great for the young and young at heart.  Star Wars fans and collectors alike will all love this lunch box.  This is also made of an easy to clean fabric, insulated to keep your food fresh and an easy to open zipper closure on the top.  To hear the sound just push the black button on the top and it lights up with sound.  Everyone in my family loved this lunch kit.  My son ended up switching his current lunch box for this one.  That was a huge surprise for us.  So surprise a fan with this great option from Thermos.

My son who’s a huge TMNT fan was super excited when two products arrived just for him.  Honestly he could care less what it was used for just that it had the Ninja Turtles on it.  He got to review the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles™ FUNtainer Bottle, he’s been using it to take water or juice to school as well.  He used it for about two weeks straight and then our toddler took it over.  This is the only bottle with a straw that our son with Autism will drink from.  The way that Thermos made the straw in the bottle is great for him because it’s soft and chewy but strong and durable at the same time.  He’s been enjoying this bottle the most.  The bottle has an easy to open push button that makes it fun to use.  I love all the feature of the Thermos products but one of my favorites is stickers that lets you know how long your contents will stay either warm or cool.  That’s a great feature.  The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles FUNtainer Food Jar was great for school lunches.  When I wanted to make sure his lunch would remain warm I would pack this with him.  It keeps food warm for up to five hours and it stays cool to the touch even when the contents is hot.  Great for soup at home, the slip proof bottom gave me some piece of mind.
