Tru Kid Hero Stick Review

As a mother I love trying new products that my kids will love.  I especially like products that are natural, that way I don’t have to worry about what kinds of bad thing they may be getting exposed to.  I know I can speak for all parents when I say that we have to fix all the cuts and scrapes.  I know my kids seem to eat band-aids (not literally) but we are always running out of band-aids.  When they see a new box of band-aids it seems they end up with the most cuts and scrapes.  Even the smallest cuts needs a band-aid and with my oldest son it seems like we change his ever hour.  So you can imagine my excitement when I was given the opportunity to try a  Hero Stick from Tru Kid.

  According to the label on the Hero Stick it can be used on boo-boos, burns, scratches, eczema, bug bites and dry skin.  The most problematic thing for us is both our sons have very dry skin in the fall/winter.  No matter what we use the skin on their face, especially under the lips is so dry.  We are always putting Vaseline on it and still have problems with it.  So of course the first I did was apply it to their chin and below their lips.  I immediately noticed a huge difference.   Our oldest son was able to go to per-kindergarten and  return home without needing a second application while there.  It didn’t leave his skin super greasy or clammy.  When I used it on our toddler all his skin irritation when away within twenty minutes.  I also noticed on days when I haven’t applied it to his skin it starts to get dry again.  Now my hero stick is always in my purse.  It’s the first thing I grab when the kids get any scratches or bruises, and its our go to product for dry or irritated skin.

I recommend this to all parents, care givers and teachers to keep on hand for all those things that affect kids.  They will love the soothing affect and you can feel good about using a natural product on their skin.  Tru Kid has other great products for sale on their site.  They include shampoo & conditioner, hand wash, body wash, lotion, sunscreen products and more.  We also got a sample of the shampoo and conditioner to try.  I used them in our toddler’s hair since he has really dry hair.  I have to say its the best shampoo and conditioner combination we have used for him ever.  It was better than any previous baby brand we used in the past.  The shampoo removed all the dirt and oils from his hair and the conditioner left his hair soft and manageable for at least four days.  Compared to the baby stuff that works for an hour and then his hair is dry and brittle again.  If you have a child with dry hair or hair that gets tangled then you will want to try the Silly Shampoo and the Cool Conditioner.
