Tommee Tippee Formula Dispensers & Pacifier Review

Recently I was sent a few items to review from Tommee Tippee and it included the Formula Dispensers and a Pacifier set.  I was really excited about trying both products but the formula dispensers especially because my sister who has a son a month older than mines has some from another brand and I wanted to have my own.  I used my dispensers as soon as they arrived.  I love these little things.  They are the best thing ever and I am surprised I didn’t know about them with my other children.  Before they arrived I was taking a whole can of formula with me in my baby bag or at night I would have the entire can in the room.  Now I just pre-measure out the amount of formula I plan to use and take the individual dispensers with me.

Storing formula in the dispensers is a breeze, just scoop the desired amount and cover.  I’ve only used them for two scoops of formula.  I think it can hold between four and five scoops depending on the size of the scoop.

As you can see on the box the dispensers should hold enough formula to make an 8 ounce bottle.

The dispensers fit easily into my five ounce Tommee Tippee Bottles.  When it’s time to use you simple remove the cap and pour into the bottle.

I also wanted to show that mines worked with my Nuby bottles as well.  So you can purchase them to use with your Tommee Tippee bottles as well as other bottles you may have on hand.

We also had the opportunity to test out some of the clear pacifiers from Tommee Tippee.  I wasn’t sure how my toddler would do with them since he was used to the one we got from the hospital.  I waited a few weeks before trying them with him and I was surprised that he took them right away.  He’s more attached to these than the original one he was first given.  They easily soothe him to sleep or when he was cranky from shots they did the trick to help him soothe.  Now these are the only ones he’ll use especially at night-time.  These are great starter pacifiers for babies.  You can also purchase them at Babies R Us, Target and Meijer.  They come in clear which we tested as well as multiple designs for boys and girls.

Another item included in our package was a set of Nipple Shields.  This is great for moms who are breastfeeding and having difficulty.  When I had our second child I was breast-feeding and during my first couple of weeks getting adjusted I would have very sore nipples.  Nipple shields are what I used to help reduce some of the tenderness.  My son wouldn’t have to latch on directly to my nipples so I could feed him as much as I wanted without having to worry about too much pain or cracking.  These are also great for moms who are bottle and breast-feeding at the same time.  The nipple shields shapes your nipple to make it easier for baby to feed and helps reduce nipple confusion.  If you are going to be a breast-feeding mother or both these are a must have.  You can also purchase them at Babies R Us, Target and Meijer.
