There’s A New Applebee’s In White Marsh

The White Marsh area has been booming these last few years.  Everywhere you look now stores, hotels, and houses are being built in the area.  Recently I had the opportunity to attend a soft opening of the new Applebee’s at Nottingham Commons.  My sister was invited and since she couldn’t make it, I attended in her place.  The invite came in the mail for myself and three people to check out the restaurant before it opened to the public.

I ended up taking two of my favorite guys to the soft opening, one of my sons and my bae.  We arrived and found parking very easy.  There are lots of spaces for guests of the restaurant and the shopping center.

There is an outdoor patio and fire pit for guests who choose to dine outdoors.  With temperatures dropping I suggest you visit as soon as possible.

For a soft opening the restaurant almost runs like it regularly does, however once we were seated our server explained to us the ordering process.  We were given a chicken card, so our meals had to be chicken based meals.

We were able to try some of the drinks on the menu as well.  We were not sure what to try and ended up having our server pick something for us.

My favorite drink was this Martini, it was so good, and based on the menu price I believe it’s a great bargain as well.

We tried a few other drinks on the menu while waiting for our appetizers to arrive at the table.

The food was really good.  We both loved the Boneless Buffalo Wings.  They were perfectly sauced and not super spicy.

My son ended up with the kids Chicken Tenders Meal, which he really liked.  He ate all of the fries within minutes and most of the strips soon after.  It’s a very good portion for a kids meal.

Our entrees were also very delicious.  Bae’s Grilled Chicken Cesar Salad portion was huge.  It could have feed two people.  They didn’t skimp on the chicken either.  My Grilled Chicken & Shrimp Skillet was filling.  The portion was good, and I really liked the presentation at the table.
