Star Wars Saga Arriving on Digital HD
Earlier this year I learned we didn’t own all six of the released movies in the Star Wars Saga. When my husband and I started dating he got me into the movies. As a gift I got him the box set with the first three movies to be released. We both thought we brought the other three individually but after seeing half of one on television we settled in for a marathon and realized we were missing one of the movies. If you’re like us and you need to add to your collection or you need to purchase the collection, you’re in for a treat. For the first time ever the Star Wars Saga is arriving on Digital HD.
For the first time ever, all six films of the epic Star Wars Saga, from The Phantom Menace to Return of the Jedi, will be available on Digital HD throughout the galaxy – or at least globally – Friday, April 10th. Enhancing the movie collection is a multitude of never-before-seen special features including, Star Wars: Discoveries from Inside and insightful Conversations with key contributors from this celebrated film franchise, plus a curated collection of classic Star Wars extras from each film!

As anticipation builds for the December release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the first new film in the Star Wars Saga in a decade, The Walt Disney Studios, Lucasfilm Ltd., and 20th Century Fox today announced the upcoming release of The Star Wars Digital Movie Collection. For the first time ever, all six epic films in the Saga, from The Phantom Menace to Return of the Jedi, will be available on Digital HD throughout the galaxy – or at least here on Earth – globally beginning Friday, April 10.
