I’ll be honest and say that when Snowpiercer was on TNT I tried watching it a few times and I just couldn’t get into the show. That could be a few reasons including my kids being home and having to share my TV time with them. After two tries I just gave up on the show, but I kept reading positive reviews from my friends on Facebook and wanted to give it an honest try again and I’m so glad that I did. This show is like a murder mystery, revolt, survivor on a train, and political drama with classism. It reminded me of so many different shows that I enjoyed wrapped up in one. Although I will say that end of days shows are getting harder to enjoy because of our current pandemic issues, this was one I enjoyed and I can’t wait to for second season.

My Thoughts
If you’re a fan of end of the world shows this is one series you will enjoy. It is so well written and the plot is one wrapped up in layers that it unfolds slowly. One thing it reminds us of is that even when the world is coming to an end, you still need money to have power and to survive. Humanity didn’t even change when we were all facing a horrible tragedy together, and again it’s the people who would fight for equality that are fighting for change on this train again. If you find yourself looking to give up after the first two episodes, don’t keep going and you will find an entertaining show that has great actors and an interesting plot.
