Slugterra DVD Review

I have to say normally slugs would freak me out but I’ve been actually digging the slugs from Slugterra. I’m in a era of my kids helping me discover new shows and this is one of them. I didn’t know much about the show at all at first but since we got the DVD to review we’ve all been having a blast watching the episodes on the disk and catching episodes that air on Disney XD. The series is about Eli Shane and his adventures in an underground world where they use slugs as their ammo. Its fun and exciting and if you have a sci-fi fan in your home they’re going to love this comedy/action series. My kids enjoyed it but I would say its perfect for pre-teens (kids nine to thirteen). It really depends on what your kids like and what shows they already enjoy though. The dvd was released on March 4th so you can order it from Target or Amazon or look for it in stores. You can also order it directly from Shout Factory.
