Shop Safeway Halloween Candy Specials
Halloween is literately right around the corner, it’s in a few days and if you haven’t had the opportunity to shop for treat to pass out on Saturday I suggest Safeway. I love shopping at Safeway when they have great deals and specials. We had the opportunity to visit the store to pick up some candy. We wanted to grab some items to create a fun project I’d seen online with the kids. While there we spotted lots of candy and great deals like Hershey chocolates where buy four and get a fifth bag for free. They even had non candy treats like pencils & stickers and sugar free treats like pretzels & popcorn.
We walked around the store and found all kinds of treats that would be perfect for Halloween. Our store had tons of candy at the front of the store making it easy for shoppers to grab their favorites to pass out or to keep for themselves. They even had some football themed and other fall themed candies in that section.
The kids and I wanted to do something fun for some of the children in our building. We had read about booing your neighbors so we searched and found some great printables to get us started. The poems vary and it depends on what you want to put on your package. We made small treat bags but you can choose any size you want.
We decided on different treats for each bag. One was for a neighbor’s daughter who doesn’t go out trick or treating. We choose a non-candy treat for her from the box of goodies we received from Peeps. The kids though one of the stuffed toys would be great for her. For the other bags we enclosed a mix of the candies we picked up from Safeway. Each boo bag had a few pieces of candy, stickers, a pencil and a small pack of Goldfish. The kids loved dropping the little treats at their friends doors with the notes attached.
