Moms are the best, and I’m not just saying that because I’m a mother of four. I have one of the best mothers in the world and I don’t know what I would do without her. I’ve already started talking to her about what she wants for Mother’s Day. When I was younger my siblings and I would go to the store and get her one of those eyeshadow kits with 101 colors. Each year she claimed she loved it but looking back she was being gracious because she really didn’t need one every year. I watched my mailbox for a few days waiting for these goodies to arrive from Sephora. I wasn’t sure what they were going to include in the box. Inside I found some blending sponges, eyebrow pencils, an eyeshadow kit, and a set of makeup brushes.

The J Goldcrown for Sephora Collection: Bleeding Hearts Sponge Set retails for $16.00 on the Sephora website. They are super cute and perfect for blending foundation. They were soft and plush. I loved the way it worked with my concealer as well. These are perfect for gifting because they are small and great for travel or everyday use. With four in the package, the receiver can use them in different makeup pouches or have them for continuous use.

I absolutely loved these eyeliner pencils. They are gorgeous on the eye. As a woman of color sometimes it’s hard to get a color that pops they way it would on a different skin tone, but these are simply amazing. My sister tried the gold one before I could and she immediately wanted to have it. I love that it includes these metallic colors that go great with a nice highlighter or bronzer.

The House of Lashes® x Sephora Collection Crème de la Crème Liner Set retails for $28.00 on the Sephora website. It makes a great gift because the set works for several different looks. Rose Gold is very popular right now so it’s a very fun thing to have in your makeup collection. With these three liners, you can create beautiful simple or glammed up looks. I fell in love with the House of Lashes® x Sephora Collection Versailles Eyeshadow Palette. I shared in my unboxing video how much I really loved the box. It reminds me of a music box, the design alone is perfect to just display on your countertop by itself. There is a bonus drawer to store your eyelashes and the palette comes with eyelash glue.

Mines got a little damaged in shipping but it’s still going to give me lots of amazing eye looks. I just love the Midnight color. The blue just pops on my skin. Another great look for women of color. I’ve shared how they all look on my skin below.
