We all know that having children is not cheap, especially when it comes to diapers and formula. I was thinking about when I was pregnant and I wish there was once place that I could go and get savings tips and places to sign up for deals and offers for new and expectant mothers. I hope that this post helps any and all mothers, fathers, grandmothers or anyone caring for a baby save a few dollars.
Do you use Amazon? Have you tried online shopping? When I was pregnant with my third child Amazon had me ready with all my diaper needs for at least four months. I would search for deals and stock up when I saw good prices on diapers and wipes.
Plus Amazon has a very neat program called Amazon Mom – it’s free for the first three months and just $99 a year after your free trial. With the free trial, you get free two-day shipping on millions of items, exclusive deals, and discounts just for moms but best of all when you use their Subscribe and Save option you save an additional 20% off your purchases of diapers and wipes. The subscribe and save program lets you sign up for automatic shipments of diapers and wipes and you can always cancel anytime.
*I should note that when you use the subscribe and save option to get the extra 20% off after your order has shipped you can go into your account and cancel your upcoming subscription or end it all together so you don’t get any future shipments. Also when you are subscribing you can say how often you want the item to be shipped to you up to 6 months.
Formula companies also offer great programs for pregnant women. I loved this because this is a great way to save on formula. Both Similac and Enfamil send mailings with formula savings. Check out these programs below and if you are expecting or know someone who is be sure to sign up.
I am a Similac Strong mom and I can say that I did use my Shutterfly credit to order birth announcements when I had my third child. I have use tons of their formula checks for store savings and I encourage all new and expectant moms to sign up with them.
I also recommend checking to see if the hospital you are delivering is a Gerber hospital because you can request a Gerber Backpack from them, also when on the Gerber site sign up for the mailings because they also send formula coupons and coupons for other Gerber products.
I hope this helps you on the way to saving some money on diapers, wipes, and formulas. I’m sure you’ll use those saving on other things for the baby.
