Relieve Constipation with DulcoEase Pink

July 14, 2013 By Nickida

Becoming pregnant can be one of the best feelings in the world, especially if you have been looking forward to becoming a mother one day.  Pregnancy can also be one of the most chaotic times in your life not the mention the toll it takes on the body.  So much is changing and happening all at once while you are growing a baby that at times it could get very rough on the body.  Before I became a mother for the first time the only ideas I had about pregnancy was what I saw with my own mother, my aunt, friends and seeing stuff on television.  When I finally got pregnant with my own child I quickly learned that no amount of stories or my first hand witnessing could prepare me for what I was going to deal with during my own journey with pregnancy.

Often I think at times when people talk about pregnancy they will tell you about their long labor, or morning sickness, or all the lovely things that happened to them.  Like they got bigger breast, longer hair and nails, didn’t gain weight, didn’t get stretch marks or lost all their pregnancy weight in a week.  One of my best and worst memories during my first pregnancy is tied to my first experience with constipation in pregnancy.  I had never heard anyone talk about having to deal with the issue and didn’t know what to do when I was dealing with it.  My stomach hurt so badly and using the bathroom caused me so much pain.  I hated the feeling of being bloated and my extreme vomiting didn’t help things either.  The worst part is that when you are pregnant the kinds of medication you can take is limited and all the recommended solutions for constipation hadn’t help me at all.  I really wished there was something on the market like DulcoEase® Pink™ Stool Softener from Dulcolax.

Here are some must have items for mommies to be:

  •  DulcoEase® Pink™ Stool Softener – before taking any kind of stool softener be sure to consult with your OB about the product and see if they have a sample or certain product that they recommend.  My OB/GYN’s office gives all pregnant women a folder with helpful information on your confirmation visit.  The first thing they discuss with you in that packet is the list of recommended medications for pregnant women, but it’s always better to ask first.  If your OB gives you the go ahead then be sure to grab a $1.50 off coupon so you can save.
  • A Nice Pair of Flats – as your pregnancy goes on be sure to get your some comfortable flats that you can wear with pretty much anything.  You want to make sure you are kind to your feet because they will get achy faster.
  • New Bra – Since your breast are getting prepared to start making milk they start to grow and get fuller.  A new bra will make all the difference in reducing some of the discomfort you may feel.
  • Fresh Fruit – Even on my worst days for vomiting I made sure to keep some fresh fruit with me.  It’s healthy and it saved the day when I didn’t want any kind of food.
  • Lotion – Yes you glow when you are pregnant but sometimes your skin dries out really badly and as your stomach grows it sometimes itch, be sure to keep a tube of moisturizing lotion in your purse to keep your skin moist and help decrease stretch marks.

No matter what your experience with pregnancy the end result is always worth it all.  Babies are such a joy and as soon as they are in your arms you soon forget some of those pregnancy symptoms.

What would be one thing you would recommend to mommies to be to add to their must have toolkit?

Every new mother’s toolkit should include DulcoEase® Pink™, the #1 OB/GYN recommended ingredient* for going #2. So if you are pregnant or breast feeding, ask your doctor if you should think Pink. Find savings on DulcoEase® Pink™ at www.MomsTalkDulcoEase.com!
