About two weeks ago I tasted the best apple juice in my entire life. I should note though I am not a fan of apple juice at all. I rarely drink it but I give it to my kids all the time. The juice I had two weeks ago has made me re-think my entire take on apple juice. Honestly I rarely read labels so I didn’t notice until I was pregnant with my first child that not all “juices” are 100% juice and some of them are made from concentrate. I mean even some of the big brands are guilty of this, but I was holding this bottle in my hand from Red Jacket Orchards and I see all I need to see right on the label. It’s not hidden in small print on the back of the bottle. Why would they hide it, this stuff is excellent and that’s when it hit me. When you know you have a great product you don’t have to hide behind labels and hope that no one finds out that they are being cheated.
My package arrived at my door in a box marked perishable. I opened it up and found six different flavor choice for my family and I to sample. I immediately put them in the fridge and went about my day. I cooked dinner that night and when hubby got home he opened the refrigerator and saw them sitting in there. He took it out and asked me “What’s this? It looks good!” I shook my head in agreement then he asked “Can I drink it?” I said of course we are reviewing these this week. When we served dinner I grabbed the bottle of Strawberry Apple and poured a cup for my kids. Then I head my daughter say “Mammy this smells like strawberries, come smell it now, I can smell strawberries in my cup.” I took her cup and immediately noticed the smell of strawberries and fresh apple juice. It smelled so good it made you crave strawberries immediately. My kids were gulping down their juice so fast they both had some extra. The juice was amazing!
When I took a sip of this juice I knew it was the best apple juice I’ve ever tasted. These juices are cold pressed and unfiltered. I noticed that immediately on the bottles and I could see some settling in the bottom of my bottle but that’s how I knew that my juice was indeed all natural. It’s a big difference between the bight yellow apple juice we usually buy and this one. My children, my husband and I all enjoyed these juices over any apple juice we’ve consumed in the past. I don’t have to say these didn’t last long at all. My hubby took some to work for lunch and we had more at dinner. All the flavors were just as tasty and delicious as the one before. Finding a favorite is virtually impossible. When we were done to just two bottles my husband opened the fridge to grab one and looked at me kinda sad and said, “You are spoiling us with this stuff, we have to find these in our area to buy because I really liked them.”
I am happy to say we can buy these juices in our are and we will be getting them over and over again. If you want to know where to find them check out their store locator. You can find Red Jacket Orchards Products at Whole Foods, Wegmans, Shoprite, Fresh Market and more. You can also purchase them online from their store. They also feature jams, apple cider and an apricot stomp like the tart cherry one I got to sample. These are really great products and my entire family give them five thumbs up. We all enjoyed them and they all tasted great. When you pick up your bottle just give it a shake, crack open and enjoy some of the best juice you will ever taste. It’s all natural and unfiltered. Plus they are Zaggat rated so you know they have to be really good.
