Ralph Breaks the Internet Spoiler Free Review | #RalphBreakstheInternetEvent

It’s officially opening day and that means I can share my spoiler-free review of the film with you guys. I can’t wait to for you guys to see the follow-up to Wreck-It Ralph. If you’re a big fan of the original movie, I promise you won’t be disappointed. I’ve been sharing lots of great posts about the #RalphBreakstheInternetEvent on my blog the past few weeks. Starting with my blue carpet experience Disney Bounding as Belle. We screened the movie that night and I knew it would be a big hit.

BBFs Ralph and Vanellope

The movie picks right back up with Ralph and Vanellope off on their adventures in the arcade at night. In this movie, we learn so much about their friendship and see it go through challenges we may have gone through ourselves with our friendships. In this movie, we see just how much Vanellope means to Ralph and the lengths he’ll go to make sure she’s happy. One of the biggest storylines revolve around their friendship and solving a conflict when they don’t agree. I think there’s a great lesson for kids to learn in this.

NAVIGATING THE NET – In “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” video-game bad guy Ralph and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz venture to the internet for a replacement part for her game, Sugar Rush. The world wide web is expansive and exciting with an elaborate transportation system Ralph and Vanellope find themselves squeezing into en route to one of their first internet destinations. A Whole New Look at the Internet

We all spend so much time on the internet but do we really know how it really works? The movie gives us a fun peek behind the curtain in a playful way to show how we may look visiting the internet as avatars. You get to see sites you know and love and they even added a few new ones for just for the film. The Oh My Disney site is a huge part of the film because of the princess scene and I can’t wait for you to see it on the big screen. It was a perfect part of the film.

GAME OVER – In “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” Litwak is forced to unplug Vanellope’s game when it is accidentally broken, leaving the Sugar Rush racers with nowhere to go. Calhoun and Felix team up with several members of the arcade’s gaming population to figure out what to do next. Felix and Calhoun Are Going Strong

We can’t forget star-crossed lovers Felix and Calhoun. They are still going strong in the film and it was lovely to see the pair again. They are happily married and they even step up to help Vanellope and the Sugar Rush citizens when the game is accidentally broken.

ROYAL REUNION – In “Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck It Ralph 2,” Vanellope von Schweetz—along with her best friend Ralph—ventures into the uncharted world of the internet. When she finds herself surrounded by Disney princesses, she’s surprised to learn that she actually has a lot in common with them. The scene, highlighted in a new trailer for the film, features several of the original princess voices, including Auli‘i Cravalho (“Moana”), Kristen Bell (Anna in “Frozen”), Idina Menzel (Elsa in “Frozen”), Kelly MacDonald (Merida in “Brave”), Mandy Moore (Rapunzel in “Tangled”), Anika Noni Rose (Tiana in “The Princess and the Frog”), Ming-Na Wen (“Mulan”), Irene Bedard (“Pocahontas”), Linda Larkin (Jasmine in “Aladdin”), Paige O’Hara (Belle in “Beauty and the Beast”) and Jodi Benson (Ariel in “The Little Mermaid”). The Disney Princesses

During our interview with co-writer Pamela Ribon, we learned about how she came up with the scene. The small clip that sent Disney fans at D23 2017 in a frenzy, had more in the movie. I can’t wait for you to see these ladies on the big screen and how they help Vanellope when she’s facing a big decision. And since I don’t think this is a spoiler because they are princesses, yes they burst out in song.

CLICKBAIT – J.P. Spamley is an oft-ignored click baiter, a netizen who tries to get people in the real world to visit his website. A relentless salesman who pops up uninvited, Spamley helps Ralph and Vanellope as they navigate this new world of the internet in an effort to save Vanellope’s game. Fun New Characters

There are lots of new characters for you to fall in love with in this film as well. Some of my favorites included Yesss, J.P. Spamley, and KnowsMore. Keep your eyes peeled for them and all the other new members to the Ralph and Vanellope family.
