I’ll admit that I’m not a huge Star Wars fan. I was first introduced to the series with the prequel movies when my father brought a copy. I had no idea how they were first created until I started dating my husband. He asked for the Star Wars movies box set and that’s when I learned about the first set of movies that were released. We would have date night at home watching the movies and my favorite character was Lando played by Billy Dee Williams. We’ve been waiting for Solo to drop in stores so we can pick up and copy and have a good old fashion movie night date at home.

I have to admit, one of the main things I was excited about was Donald Glover reprising the role of Lando in this movie. I had high expectations and of course, he didn’t disappoint. I think they did a great job sharing the origin story for Han Solo and Chewie. The movie was everything I wanted it to be and so much more. It was a great addition to the Star Wars franchise and it’s definitely getting added on our movie marathon list when we watch Star Wars from now on.
