I got this flyer in my son’s folder from school and just wanted to share some of the really cool things you can do as a family with your children in Downtown Baltimore. I think we are going to check out Target $2 Family Fun Night at Port Discovery on October 19th, 4-7. 27th Annual Chocolate Festival at Lexington Market October 1-3, 10a.m.-5p.m. Live music every day from 12- 4pm from Inquiring Minds, Blues Unchained & Daryl Davis. Chocolate eating contest on Oct. 1 & 2, 12:45pm and Oct. 3, 2pm. Children’s Magic Show on Oct. 3,11am & 2pm. Delicious chocolates and fun for the entire family.
Family Toon Day at Port Discovery Saturday, October 6, 11a.m.-2p.m. Meet your favorite PBS Kids’ character, Curious George, and enjoy special programs by the Kindersinger, the Misako Ballet, and Cook and Tell with Wegmans!
Scarecrow Making and Pumpkin Painting at BMI Farmers’ Market Saturday, October 6, 9a.m.-1p.m. The Baltimore Museum of Industry Farmers’ Market offers a convenient place to purchase fresh local fruits and vegetables; meat and poultry; milk, ice cream, and butter; plants and cut flowers; and a wide variety of artisan goods. Plus, for the last day of the market kids are invited to stuff scarecrows and paint pumpkins for the fall! Free to the public and fun for all ages.
Kids Month Petting Zoo in Center Plaza Wednesday, October 10, 11a.m.-1p.m. Free petting zoo, children’s entertainment, and snacks for the kids in one of the most scenic outdoor spaces Downtown, Center Plaza. Center Plaza is located at the corner of N. Charles and Fayette Streets.

Surprise your kids with an after school field trip to make crafts, enjoy tours, movies and more at the BMI. This
