I’ve realized when planning for baby it’s the simple gifts we often forget to include in registries or gifts to expecting parents.  For me it got worst as with every pregnancy because you start to cross off some of those things you really didn’t need but you forget those small must haves.  When we had our fourth child in December I totally didn’t have a baby shower I just figured I wouldn’t do one.  We found ourselves needing everything because we donated all our other items the year before, but I still didn’t want to have a shower.  Slowly we chipped away at our list and one of my sisters really came through for us but when baby arrived I found we were missing quite a few of the basic needs, one being a Comb & Brush Set.  It may seem simple but we didn’t have one at all and you don’t want to use your regular combs and brushes with baby so I got the Nuby Comb & Brush Set to review on my blog and it was just perfect.

Baby Comb & Brushes are a must for newborns, and our son was getting some cradle cap so we wanted to make sure we treated it before it became bad.  The brush had very soft bristles just right for baby.  I didn’t have to worry about it being hard on his scalp or leaving behind any scratches.  It was great with managing his unruly hair after washing.  I love the comb because some of the teeth are rounded at the tips so it’s also very safe to use on baby and when I used it to help stimulate his scalp to remove the cradle cap it didn’t irritate his scalp or scratch his skin at all.  Both worked perfectly and I recommend them for all babies.  Next time you get invited to a baby shower or visiting with a new parent pick up a Nuby Comb & Brush Set as a small gift just in case they forgot to get one for themselves.
