Noah’s Ark DVD Review
We recently celebrated Easter and my kids got to enjoy it with a copy of Noah’s Ark from Shout Factory Kids. The new fresh perspective on the a classic story and I loved that my kids got to enjoy it in a way that the could understand and was enjoyable to them. Award-winning filmmaker Juan Pablo Buscarini’s Noah’s Ark was released on March 11th and it uses animation to tell the bible story of Noah and the Ark. The movie is a great way to get your children talking about Noah and learning the story. Since it’s an animated feature there is much more room to have fun with the animals and all the others on the Ark.
About Noah’s Ark:
Noah’s building a whale boat to save two of each species of animal from a pending flood. The animals line up two by two to enter and boat and it starts raining and it soon becomes clear that living together on the cramped boat is not going to be easy. Trouble begins to brew when the animals begin to get hungry, there’s a pair of stowaways plotting to take over the ship, Dagnino the Tiger wants to replace the irresponsible Lion, Xiro, as king of the beasts, and Noah’s own family begins to squabble! One thing’s for sure – it won’t be smooth sailing. But with a little luck and a little faith, Noah will be able to deliver his floating zoo to safety!
Here’s a few clips from the movie, activity sheets and recipes.
