Nick Jr./Nick Mom

I have seen posts about Nick Mom especially when they were doing the promotion so moms can get a change to host a house party.  Well since I didn’t enter and didn’t do any further research I had no idea what it entailed exactly until about a week ago I went into my kids room to check their television volume and was surprised when I saw a show called Parental Discretion was showing.  I usually leave their television for light and turn the volume down.  We always put their television on Nick Jr because we know they won’t see anything but children’s programing, and now that has changed.

I have to say I miss Noggin.  We loved that station and I never had any problems with my kids watching Noggin because it was like Pre-School all day.  At the beginning of each program they informed parents about what the kids would be learning about and the skills the show targeted. As tired as I was of watching Yo Gabba Gabba, Peppa Pig, Little Bear, Franklin, Moose A. Moose & Zee, 64 Zoo Lane, Jack’s Big Music Show and (even though it was annoying) The Upside Down Show, I miss these shows and I know some still run on Nick Jr but its just not the same and now I find out that at 10 PM, Nick Mom takes over and I am even more sadden that Noggin is gone for good.  Even though my kids are usually asleep by 9:30 there are some nights when they stay up late on weekends, holidays and when traveling.

I guess I will have to change it to the Good Night Show on Sprout to play over night.
