NCV Bible In A Year Review

Have you ever challenged yourself to read the bible in a year? My husband and I did two years in a row. The first year we were going to follow an online guide and about a month in we forgot to keep up with the site. The second time we were going to use an app on our phones and after an upgrade to our phones we stopped after a few months. It’s not a very easy task at all but I know lots of people start the year off saying they are going to do it and just never get it done. Well I had the opportunity to review the NCV Bible in a Year from Tommy Nelson and I was excited to see how it would work with helping people achieve that goal.

This book is a great way to get the whole family in on reading the bible. The New Century Version is for a reading level of fifth grade so kids age 10 and older can read it with ease and some kids probably could at a younger age depending on their reading level. It makes it easy for the whole family to understand and make the goal more attainable for those who may have struggled in the past.
