NCircle Entertainment Back-to-School DVDs Review & Giveaway
School is in full swing and I just received some awesome titles from NCircle Entertainment to celebrate the kids returning to school. They all have a learning theme and include some of the kids favorites like Octonauts and Sid the Science Kid. I’m a member of the NCircle Entertainment Blogger Program and I received five dvds for review and another set to give away. Any opinions expressed are my own.
The Wiggles: Apples & Bananas
My kids didn’t watch The Wiggles much, It just wasn’t a show they got into often but we’ve come across it often since we usually only watch the children’s channels. My niece on the other hand watches it all the time and she just loves the songs. She even has a CD she plays when in the car with her parents. The Wiggles: Apples and Bananas is a collection of Nursery Rhymes with over 22 songs, it’s bound to keep your little one entertained, singing and happy for a while. It’s a great item for stocking stuffer or a just because gift. Pick it up today.

Sid the Science Kid: The Ruler of Thumb
We’ve been watching Sid The Science Kid for a while in my family. My daughter started watching the show and so all my other children watch it as well. Right now my toddler is the one who watches the show the most. It’s saved as a favorite in his PBS Kids app. In The Ruler of Thumb, Sid learns about measuring in one episode. He learns about charts, whales, shells and so much more. I love Sid because he fosters a love of science at an early age. He’s someone my kids can identify with because he seems close to their age and he and his friends really make school seem like so much fun. This is a great DVD if your child has jitters about going to school or they are showing interest in scientific stuff. It’s a must add to any kids DVD collection.

So many chores, so little time! If Sid the Science Kid doesn’t fill his chore chart with stickers, he’ll never get that new Turbo-Mega-Rocket Ship toy. What’s so important about a chart anyway? Sid soon learns that charts are great science tools for comparing and contrasting things like snacks, pets and even chores! When playing with a rolie polie bug, Sid discovers another amazing science tool – the magnifying glass! Now, Sid can see a whole new world through his magnifying glass and finds that bigger is better! Sid learns all about science tools like rulers and magnifying glasses and how they help us. Animal Atlas: Animal ABC’s
Animal ABC’s was a perfect addition to our kids DVD collection for my toddler. Although he’s non-verbal I loved that he could see the different animals for each letter of the alphabet. It was even a blast for my older kids. They didn’t even realize there were so many amazing animals in the world. We loved watching and learning about the animals for the alphabet. This DVD is a great learning resource for children and make playing games so much more fun. This is another great title to add to your collection.

The Octonauts
I think I know the Octonauts theme song word for word, that’s how much my kids watch it. All my kids still watch this show. We love sitting and seeing what the group will get into next. Seeing all the different rescues and getting to explore the deep sea without leaving our couches. I love this show and I enjoy it with my kids because it’s not only fun it’s very educational. We are always learning about a new ocean creature on every episode. The Octonauts are a fun way to teach kids about ocean life and these DVDs make great gifts.

The Cat In the Hat: Show & Tell Sure is Swell!
The Cat in the Hat brings the characters of the popular books to life. He’s funny and everything I imagined it would be when reading the books. Kids will fall in love with this series because of all the adventures the Cat takes the kids in each episode. Who doesn’t love Show & Tell? My kids love it every time they get to do it in school and in the title episode on this DVD the Cat in the Hat does an awesome job with Show & Tell. One thing I really like about this how is now the kids ask for permission before leaving for each adventure and how they end up learning something on all those adventures. If your child loves the books they’ll love the DVDs.
