Philips Norcelco Multigroom Pro: Mission Accomplished
As a man in my mid-thirties I’m starting to see hair in places that I’ve never seen before. This is a change I do not welcome and will fight vigorously lol. Enter the Philips Norelco Multigroom Pro, the newest endeavor from the classic shaver company that has made a quality reputation producing men’s grooming products. As a African- American man I do not have to shave daily so I don’t use a razor. Razor’s though they provide a clean shave, they tend to cause severe shaving bumps and ingrown hairs in Black men because our facial is very thick and coarse and pushing back through the skin can cause serious skin irritation.
I have used clippers (barber trimmers) since I was 17 to shave and they have for the most part served me well. Clippers get close enough for a clean shave without shaving below the skin and causing those bumps that no man wants. So one day well in the bathroom my lovely wife handed me the Philips Norelco Multigroom Pro box and said “here try this.” I looked at the box, the functions, and the features of the shaver and became intrigued, I took it out and gave it a try. I immediately noticed the close shave which I liked, then I realize the changing the head I could trim and even blend my beard, line and clean up my mustache, and get those pesky nose hairs I recently started developing.
All the needed attachments were in the box, along with a plug-in charger to keep the long-lasting lithium-ion battery at full capacity. I really like the turbo feature which makes the shaver motor work hard to push the shaver’s head trough the thick and full hair like a hot a knife through butter.

This is the shaver that wont irritate my skin like a regular razor which means I can use it daily but with the clean shave it provides I may not have to. Thanks to Philips Norelco for sending the Multigroom Pro for review. Any opinions expressed are my own.
