Mindblowing Gifts For The Astronaut In Your Life

Mindblowing Gifts For The Astronaut In Your Life

Life is like this – we spend a lot of time starting up into the sky and wondering about the world above, no matter what we believe. Heaven, space, planes, cosmos – it’s all a wonder up there, and we can all agree on that. The skies above our heads are full of amazement, and our kids know that. A lot of the questions that come out of there mouths are to do with ‘what’s up there’

In a way, buying gifts that represent a love of the skies, space and beyond is the best way to encourage a healthy interest in the world above in our children. Now, not everyone is caught out to be an astrologist or an astronaut, but an interest in the skies above is nothing to worry about at all. Everything that we buy doesn’t need to be incredibly expensive. Not at all. Like any gift, gifts to encourage an interest in the skies above can be found on any budget. You don’t need to necessarily buy the remains of an astronaut for 10 grand! Here are some gifts with a focus on everything above the floor – and mainly space, for the astronauts in our life!

Despite the open wonders of the sky above, there are plenty of little things we can grab. Moon dust necklaces are pretty special and are absolutely stunning – moon dust comes from asteroids that fall to earth. Only 191 have hit and fell to our ground, so these are just as special as they are beautiful. Space and astronaut bedding and blankets are a really cool addition to a bedroom, and will not break the bank. Of course, you can get plenty of clothes and shirts that represent a love of the skies and space, so don’t rule out clothing – especially so if your budget isn’t stretching to the moon and back. Prints and art of spaceships, planets, stars and astronauts are also great additions to a little astronaut’s room. You can also grab cosmic night lights that beam the surface of the moon across the room.

If you want to aim big, but don’t want to break the budget, you’ve got a lot of options. For one, you could buy a star and have it named after a special someone in your family. This is an incredibly unique gift, and you do not need to be told just how special this is, surely there’s not many greater wonders than the stars that light up God’s sky? Capture one for a loved one.

The best star-based gift is a telescope as well, as what point are the wonders of the world above if we cannot view them? A telescope allows us to spot the stars and the other wonders of the world above.

Then again, this is all pointless if the person we are buying for isn’t bothered about space, so before you start planning for a birthday that is out of this world, make sure the person you are buying for actually has an interest in this type of stuff!
