Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie-rella Review

Yesterday was Valentine’s Day and we started out our day with the newest DVD in the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse collection. The kids had been asking me for at least two weeks now about getting it when it comes on and I told them just wait. They didn’t know I had a huge surprise for them, I had already had the dvd waiting to surprise them on Valentine’s Day. It was the first in our line up yesterday and they loved it. My daughter’s only complaint was “Mammy, why was it so short?” Then she remembered there were three other episodes and ten Minnie’s Bowtique shorts as well. The episode follows the basic premise of Cinderella. Minnie’s friends are taking her for granted and since she’s so busy helping her friends she has no time to get ready for the ball that night, with some help she gets there just in time to dance the night away with Prince Mickey and you know the rest of the story. It was a perfect short version of a classic and younger kids will love it.

Daisy’s Pony Tale – When Professor Von Drake’s new invention, a Fritzer-Spritzer Spray Potion, accidentally gets spritzed on Daisy’s ponytail, it makes her hair grow super long! That’s not goody-good at all. Along with Mickey and Sire Goofs-a-Lot, Daisy travels on her pony to find twelve leaves of the magical plant, Rapunzel, in order to reverse the effects of the Professor’s potion and fix her ponytail.
