Mia Mariu’s Create Your Perfect Canvas Review
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and while some people are natural others prefer some make up. One of me closest friends in college is a make up artist. She actually just left her full time job to start her own Makeup Artist business. I’ve been so proud of her, seeing her transform women from their natural looks to something they find beautiful is amazing. For me I prefer to go natural. Mostly because I’ve never been into make up at all. I don’t know how to apply make up at all but I have a daughter and she’s already loving the whole process. She’s constantly on youtube looking at videos and for her birthday I got her some Monster High Make Up and she’s been loving the lip gloss and blush. I’ll have to send her to my friend for lessons as she gets older. Applying makeup requires some knowledge of how each product works and you also need to make sure when you apply it that you put on just what you need so you don’t end up with lots of extra make up on your face. I received three samples from Mia Mariu’s line to create your perfect canvas. The three items included the Perfecting Finish Mineral Primer, Perfecting Finish Mineral Cream Concealer and Perfecting Finish Mineral Foundation (loose powder).
Each of the products I received helps with creating a beautiful finished make up job. This combination of products produces a smooth finish that note only looks amazing it also helps cover up dark spots and blemishes.
The Perfecting Finish Mineral Foundation Primer in the black tube is a white cream that you apply to your clean face prior to applying any make up. It helps to create a smooth finish because it fills in any lines and allows for seamless application of your foundation. It’s oil free but it really makes your skin glow when you apply it. I really like how it had my skin feeling soft and smooth when I applied it. When I applied mines I did notice that the foundation and concealer appeared smoother.
The Perfecting Finish Mineral Foundations comes in three formulas: Liquid, Cream and Loose Powder. They deliver oil-free, luminous all day coverage while providing the benefits of natural minerals and vitamins. Each of these Mineral Foundation reduces the appearance of pores to obtain a perfectly matched radiant tone. I choose the powder foundation because its what I grew up seeing my mother use. I would recommend using what works best for yourself. Also make sure you have a nice brush to apply your make up evenly when you are using a powder. I read online that you should apply your foundation first and then apply concealer to correct any dark spots or blemishes. This foundation felt very light on my skin, as a matter of fact it was so light I went to bed with the make up I applied on my face because I completely forgot about it. I was really surprised that it didn’t feel like I had it on at all. I wore it all day and my pores felt just like they would when I don’t wear make up.
The Perfecting Finish Mineral Cream Concealer is also oil-free, and it packed with vitamins. It’s a high intensity formula that effectively covers imperfections like dark spots, discoloration and blemishes for a perfect and even tone. The Mia Mariu Mineral Cream Concealer is perfectly balanced to match your skin tone without leaving ash tones or a chalky look. I used the concealer to help cover up dark spots on my face and the dark circles under my eyes. It worked great with covering up both. After I applied it my skin looked great.
I didn’t have any problems using this make up dispute having sensitive skin. When I was ready to remove the make up I just washed my face with a cleanser and it was all gone. Overall I loved my experience with Mai Mariu and how it well it worked with my skin.
