MAM Baby Anti-Colic Bottles Review
The new MAM Baby Anti-Colic Bottle is not just innovative but it’s also very easy to use. If you’re looking for a new bottle for your baby or just shopping for when baby arrives then I suggest you check out these bottles from MAM. I was sent a two pack of the 9 oz bottles in blue from MAM to review. My infant has been using the same bottles from since he came home from the hospital. I have tried a few other bottles and some he like ok and others he has just outright refused. I didn’t know what to expect of him in regards to the new bottle and whether he would take it or not.
He had no problems with latching on to this bottle when using it for the first time. It was so easy for him to use and it’s been added to his routine of regular bottles now. One of the things I worried about the most with introducing a new bottle is having to worry about gas colic. When he’s drinking from this bottle there’s virtually no bubbles. I didn’t notice any changes in him after feeding him with this bottle. He didn’t have added gas or fussiness compared to when I introduced other bottles. The bottle has a wider base and slimmer top so when it’s time for baby to start holding the bottle his hands can hold the top of the bottle with no problems. The bottle is easy to unscrew and take apart for cleaning. The nipple is made from a soft silicone that’s supposed to help mothers who are nursing and bottle feeding as it reduces nipple confusion. I also didn’t have any leaking issues with the bottle because the silicone seal held very well. It’s a great bottle.
The Anti-Colic bottle is just one of the innovative developments from the MAM design studio. Its Vented base has small air holes and a silicone seal that allows for maximum air flow in while still preventing milk from leaking out. The vented base ensures controlled milk flow by balancing air pressure inside the bottle. Liquid is also pushed towards the nipple allowing it to retain its shape and preventing it from collapsing. All Anti-Colic bottles use MAM’s patented ultra soft silicone nipple.Transitioning from breast to bottle is simple because MAM ultra soft silicone nipples feel most like mom’s breast.
The ability to self sterilize the bottle in the microwave is just an added bonus to an already great bottle. It’s so easy to do and only takes three minutes. Just follow the direction included with your bottle and you’ll be self-sterilizing in no time.
