Say Vamousse to Lice

July 31, 2014 By Nickida

Say Vamousse to Lice

Kids are starting to head back to school soon, some as early as the first week of August and there’s so much that goes into preparing for back to school.  There are shopping lists and meet the teachers, just to name a few.  Back to school also means the start of extra sensitizing.  For us it seems to never fail at least one of the kids get a cold from a classmate and then we are all sick.  It’s a cycle that repeats because when kids are playing and having fun they don’t think about the germs.  In addition to germs, more recently we’ve also had to extra careful in both my kids classes for food allergies.  Now back to school is about more than just getting school supplies and the kids returning to school.  With all your preparations for back to school have you thought about LICE?

Thanks to Vamousse for my product samples.  I’m prepared for anything lice related this school year.  When it comes to lice you never know when they will strike and in school settings according to the CDC outbreaks of head lice are the most common communicable disease in North American schools, after the common cold.  Did you know that someone with head lice may not show any signs of having lice at all.  Lice usually live in dark places and sometimes it’s hard to find them at first.   Vamousse has an entire section on their website that gives more information about head lice.  You can read more about it here.  Be sure to check out the tips they offer for helping reduce the spread of head lice in school.  Vamousse offers two products to help kill lice and to help prevent head lice.

Vamousse Lice Treatment kills lice and their eggs in 15 minutes.  It’s also non-toxic, pesticide free and safe for children two years and older.  Since this product is a mousse it’s quick and easy to apply and it’s less likely to drip into your child’s eyes.  Applying Vamousse is easy and you can find all the directions on their website and in the directions in the box.  When you’re ready to use imply apply the Vamousse mousse to hair, make sure the hair and scalp are fully saturated with Vamousse, wait 15 minutes and shampoo. Vamousse starts killing head lice and eggs the moment it’s applied! And without a drippy, chemical smelling, eye-stinging mess that other liquid treatments can create.  Check out this video below to see how easy it is to use.

The Vamousse Shampoo is for preventing lice.  It’s the product you use to prevent your child from getting lice.  You can use this product daily or when you feel like it’s needed.  For example you find out about an outbreak at your child’s school use the shampoo to prevent them from getting lice.  You can also use the shampoo after treating with the lice treatment.  Vamousse suggests that use this shampoo for at least two weeks for it to be effective.

You can purchase Vamousse on Amazon.  Also be sure to visit their website for tips on preventing head lice and tips for cleaning your house if you have had an infestation.  This school year be prepared and get Vamousse before a breakout.
