Kiss InstaWave Automatic Curler Review
I’ve always had trouble with my hair. When I was a child my mother would braid it most of the time and for special occasions she would use a hot comb to straighten it out. I eventually started getting my hair relaxed and after a horrible hair incident this summer, I started wearing my hair natural. When I did have a relaxer the hardest thing about keeping up my hair was getting curls that I loved. I received a Kiss InstaWave Automatic Curler from Brandbacker for review. Any opinions expressed are my own.
It took me a while to try out the InstaWave Automatic Curler. My hair is very short and in its natural state, it’s even shorter. I was waiting for my hair stylist to try it out but after washing and drying my hair I tried it on by myself. I didn’t know what to expect but my overall experience was good. Here’s some pros I found using the Kiss InstaWave Automatic Curler.
- The InstaWave Automatic Curler heats up very fast.
- It takes about 15 seconds to get right curls
- It only takes about 6 seconds to get loose curls.
- The curls last very long.
- The InstaWave also gets my natural hair straight.
- You can curl your hair from lots of angles.
You can check out the quick video of me using the curlers on my sister’s hair. It was easier for me to show it on her hair since mines was shorter.
It was easy to use once I got the hang of using. To use simply place one to two inches of hair onto the curler, press the button to catch hair and rotate curl barrel. Hold button until hair is fully around barrel then let it go. Allow barrel to heat hair for three to ten seconds, depending on how thick your hair is hold it longer. You may also have to hold it longer if you have really long hair. When you ready to release, pull the InstaWave gently downward to release a beautiful curl.
I will say that my main problem with using these curlers is that it does take time and some practice. I looked at the video from Kiss before starting and even then it took me a few tries to get the hang of it. Don’t expect to just pick them up and use. I also had some problem with rotating, especially when I was doing my own hair. Overall though I loved the Kiss InstaWave, it made it easy to achieve great curls.
If you interested in purchasing your own InstaWave you can purchase it from Target and Ultra.
